Air Chief Marshal S Krishnaswamy, Chief of the Air Staff arrived at Avadi Air Force Station, Chennai on a two-day visit. On his arrival, the Air Chief was given a guard of honour. Later, he held discussions with Air Cmde H S Garkal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Avadi and interacted with senior officers, airmen and civilian employees of the station. The Air Chief Marshal also visited various training facilities, warehouses, sites and sections of the station.

Mrs Harveen Krishnaswamy, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) visited Station Medicare Centre and Air Force School. She addressed the members of AWWA (Regional) and reviewed the welfare measures being taken at the station.
