It was an exhilirating experience for the wives of Signals JCOs and jawans to walk around and see what their husbands handle and use. The children enjoyed the fax machines, internet world of cyber cafe and a feel of the weapons. The highlight of the evening was the specially laid out Mere Kapade, Mera Ration and Mere Hathiyar to arrange a close look at a soldier’s basic needs. A demonstration of radio relay aerial erection by a communication detachment kept the audience spell-bound for a while.
