The Governing Body of the Cadet Welfare Society of the National Cadet Corps has enhanced the financial assistance in case of death of a cadet in high risk activities from Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. The rate of permanent disability has also been increased to Rs 2 lakh. The compensation for temporary disability has been raised from the existing Rs 60,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Similarly, financial assistance in case of death of a cadet in normal activities has been enhanced to Rs 1.50 lakh for death and permanent disability and to Rs 1 lakh for temporary disability.
