Terriorists Surrender

The efforts of the Armed Forces in curbing terrorism in J & K received a major fillip when four Pakistan- trained terrorists including a local commander of the breakway faction of HM decided to lay down their arms.

In a simple ceremony held in the frontier district of Kupwara, thefour terrorists surrendered their weapons alongwith a huge amount of communication and explosives to Maj Gen Rajinder Singh, General Officer Commanding, 28 Infantry Division.

The success achieved by security forces in checking infiltration across the Line of Control and surrender of terrorists has dealt a severe blow and resulted in lowering the morale of Pakistan trained terrorists.
